Lost in Translation

Sometimes you get so frustrated because what you think is so obvious and so easy is completely misunderstood by others. Whatever happened to common sense, initiative and anticipating what the other person will need? It comes like 2nd nature to some, but seems so unattainable for others. The worst is when the obtuse party still doesn't get that they're wrong, and blame you for saying what you did not say. Argh! Good help is hard to find! What do I need to do? Translate English into alphabet letters? Then they get upset if you go through it step by step, insisting and brushing aside what they think they already know. Which you scarily and correctly guess they don't.
The other issue is the attitude. In taking on a new task - Don't expect it to be a walk in the park. Who's going to hand over the solution on a silver platter? If at first you don't succeed, then try and try until you bleed! Ok...that's too extreme, but hey, just take the task in your stride and tackle it one step at a time. People love to complain.....and whine! Of course, look at me! Even I have succumbed!
